QA/RA Specialist – Part Time

Job Description

Immunomic Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an innovative and highly motivated QA/RA Specialist join the Regulatory Affairs team on a Part-Time basis. This position could lead to a Full-Time opportunity as the company continues to grow. The selected candidate will work closely with R&D, Operations, and Project Management as an integral part of product development.

Essential Functions

Reporting to the VP of Regulatory Affairs, this position will be responsible for providing support to the Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs Department at ITI. In this role, the incumbent will use his/her working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to support the Quality Management System (QMS) and coordination and preparation of IND related documents and submissions, including amendments, annual reports, new protocols, protocol amendments, safety reports and agency correspondence.

  • Assist with maintaining the Quality Management System and preparing rolling, monthly, quarterly and annual data collection & generating quality reports
  • Assist with the exchange of regulatory and quality documents between external partners and vendors involved in publishing regulatory documents and clinical trials
  • Assist with maintaining and archiving regulatory and quality system documents within the document management system
  • Support the coordination and preparation of IND related documents and submissions, including amendments, annual reports, new protocols, protocol amendments, safety reports and agency correspondence
  • Assist with document related clinical trial pre/in-trial/post trial activities
  • Maintain internal clinical trial master files
  • Support other regulatory and quality activities as needed

Senior Scientist – Oncology

Immunomic Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an innovative and highly motivated scientist to join the nucleic acid vaccine team in Oncology. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and/or leading oncology projects, and have the opportunity to identify and interrogate the immunomodulatory target pathways using cutting-edge technologies and novel approaches to enrich the LAMP vax pipeline. Prior experience in cancer immunology immunotherapy research and potentially nucleic acid vaccines is preferred but not required. The selected candidate will work closely with other scientists, participate in project teams, and work in a multidisciplinary environment in order to advance projects.

Essential Functions

The duties of this position will involve supporting and/or leading a multidisciplinary team to develop ITI-LAMP vax for cancer therapy, and utilizing in vivo mouse models with in vitro cell-based immunoassays to elucidate mechanism of action of these vaccines. The ideal candidate will have in-depth and hands-on expertise in immunoassays, flow cytometric analysis of immune cells and in utilizing in vivo mouse cancer models. The candidate must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrixed environment to design, execute, interpret and communicate oncology studies for one or more projects utilizing good scientific judgment and strong team skills. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

  • Expertise in current technology practices in cancer biology and immunology is required
  • Experience in immunoassays is required.
  • Experience with in vivo rodent cancer models is required.
  • Ability to independently design experiments, make detailed observations, analyze data, interpret results and deliver timely results.
  • Excellent presentation and oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prepare precise technical summaries and protocols and maintenance of appropriate documentation.

Job Description

Immunomic Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an innovative and highly motivated Sr. Research Associate to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the R&D Scientists in important oncology research. The selected candidate will work closely with scientists and work in a multidisciplinary environment in order to advance projects.

Essential Functions

Reporting to management or scientific level staff, the position requires broad laboratory experience in the areas of cellular and molecular biology. Will also play a key role in animal husbandry such as vaccine delivery, bleeds, and breeding program. Requires detailed-orientation, hands-on approach, organization skills, team-orientation, enthusiastic attitude and adaptability to changing requirements with strong communication skills. Incumbent will possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Perform in-life technical procedures (e.g., handling, shaving, body weight, dosing, body temperatures).

  • Administer test substances by various basic methods (e.g., oral gavage, IP, IV).
  • Manage and observe animals for general health and overall wellbeing.
  • Collect and record research data and biological specimens in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice Regulations (GLPs), study protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Review documentation to ensure functions performed meet quality control requirements.
  • Use GLPs, SOPs, processes and company policies when performing all job functions.
  • Handle, restrain, and provide care for all species of laboratory animals at the site.
  • Perform study preparation activities including collection tube labeling and room setup.
