Immunomic Therapeutics Inc. is looking forward to attending the annual BIO Convention in San Diego, California next week. The International BIO Convention brings together nearly 16,000 innovators and researchers from 76 countries across the globe.

This year, Immunomic Therapeutics will have a booth in the Maryland Pavilion, presented by the Maryland Department of Commerce. The Maryland Pavilion will host innovators from across Maryland’s robust biotechnology and life sciences corridor.

At BIO, Immunomic will be sharing information and news about their innovative LAMP-Vax™ technology platform. Recently, Immunomic announced that they will be combining their LAMP-Vax technology with a newly licensed, patented and proprietary cytomegalovirus (CMV) immunotherapy platform, developed at Duke University by Drs. John Sampson and Duane Mitchelle. This new research will take aim at glioblastoma (GBM), an aggressive form of brain cancer. The approach could harness the body’s immune system to recognize, attack and destroy tumor cells that express CMV, which is over-expressed in a variety of human cancers, including GBM.

If your organization is attending BIO be sure to stop by and say hello to the Immunomic team in the Maryland Pavilion. For more information about BIO visit: http://convention.bio.org/2017/.
